Mama’s Homemade Meatballs

There is nothing like mama’s homemade meatballs! The love thats in every hand shaped meatball is priceless.

  • Ground Beef & Ground Turkey (Mix the meat for amazing texture)

  • Panko Bread Crumbs (1-2 cups)

  • 2 Eggs , 1 can of Tomato Paste, 1 full size can of tomato sauce, Chicken broth.

  • Spices: Kosher Salt, Course Ground Black Pepper, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, Oregano, Cayenne Pepper, Basil. ( 1 TBSP each spice, add more depending on amount of meat. )

  • Combind all ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Scoop out meat for a medium sized meatball, roll meatball in the palm of both hands for the perfect shape. After meatballs are formed brown the meatballs in a skillet.

  • In a separate saucepan create a sauce with tomatoe sauce, diced yellow onions, bell peppers, jalpenos and garlic. This sauce will be the topping for your meatballs.

  • Remove the meatballs and place into cast iron skillet for baking. Cover meatballs in tomatoe sauce you prepared in the separte pan.

  • Bake for 30 minutes on 375 degrees.

  • Sprinkle with parsely, basil and fresh grated parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
